Your CD, The Long Goodbye, is marvelous! I very much enjoy it and have played it many times. The first thing I noticed about it is the song selection. Many of the songs have been favorites since I was younger; “Wayfaring Stranger,” “Will The Circle Be Unbroken," etc., and I believe that including these songs, long a part of our heritage, is important. Knowing them, it inspires people to sing along and harmonize with you.
Eli has done a fine job, and beginning and ending with his beautiful violin music was a good idea, tying the entire CD together. Pat, your vocals are exceptional. The special feature of your particular voice, what makes it your sound, is so listenable. Congratulations on this lovely CD.”
