Dear Pat & Donna -
 
Just a note to let you know that our copy of "The Long Goodbye" came today.  Erling & I just sat and listened to the whole thing - reading the lyrics of your songs when they were available, Pat.  What a beautiful recording!  I cried through many of the songs - they just hit deep.  I know I'm going to be ordering at least 4 CDs to send to my cousins whose Mom died of Alzheimer's a couple years ago.

We were going to call you and thank you in person for the beauty and depth of the project - but I talked with Constance and found that you were on tour.  So this e-mail is in place of hearing your voices loud and in person.

Dear Pat & Donna

Your "Long Good-bye" CD has really touched me. My mother has Alzheimers and I just had to place her in a nursing home after having her live with me for over three years. When I first got the CD I hadn't made the decision to place her there. I cried a lot when I listened--tears I had been repressing and I didn't know it. Thank you for being so open to sharing feelings. I'm praying for you both on your tour.
